Great books

This novel that took me almost 3 months to complete(thanks to sch assignments and stuff) is a brilliant and almost heart wrenching book. The story depicts the tragic fate of afghan women, even as the world enters into the modern era, the state in afghanistan is not much better off than US a few centuries back. Khaled Hosseini brings up the life of the characters in the plot with so much spirit and details that makes every reader feels like they just have led an afghan's before.

I'll give it a 4.5/5.

On another book that Khaled wrote, this is pretty much my favourite so far. It talks about values, pride and loyalty. The story of the unwavering loyalty of a servant to his master, which will touch the conscience of every human.

I'll give it a 5/5.
